A thoroughly decent man who was kind, humorous, and reliable, Mick was much loved and is now sadly missed at Osney. Condolences and best wishes to the Crook family. Magnus

My thoughts are with Mick's Wife today. I did not know Mick and I can't imagine the pain you are all feeling. I have found my faith to be a source of hope when I have felt loss in difficult circumstances and want to share a couple in the hope they might provide some comfort. "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34v18). "He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away. (Revelation 21:4)” "16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 2 Corinthians 4 v 16-18 Jennifer

I didn't know Mick, but my husband works in an EA Field Team in LNA. My thoughts are with the family and this sad time.
